Synopsis
The Lady's Companion (Manual para señoritas, 2025) is a Spanish period comedy-drama series you can watch online on iFILM. The job sounds straightforward: find suitable husbands for three wealthy sisters. Late-19th-century suitable, where a wrong introduction can ruin a reputation overnight.
Directed by Carlos Sedes and Claudia Pinto Emperador, the series follows Elena Bianda — played by Nadia de Santiago — as she navigates engagement schemes, social scandal and the unwritten rules of a world that leaves no margin for error. Álvaro Mel plays opposite her. Each sister has different ideas about what a good match looks like. Elena has ideas too, though they're not in the brief she was hired for.
