Synopsis
Haseen Dillruba (2021) is an Indian mystery thriller you can watch online on iFILM. A gas cylinder blast tears through a small-town house and leaves a mutilated body in the rubble. The police have one suspect: the dead man's wife. Pulled in for questioning, Rani — played by Taapsee Pannu — starts telling them about her marriage, one careful detail at a time.
The more she talks, the muddier it gets. There's the arranged match to shy, jealous Rishu (Vikrant Massey), a hungry affair, a confident outsider, and a love story that reads like a pulpy paperback. Director Vinil Mathew leans into that trashy-romance tone on purpose — lurid, bloody and melodramatic, with a sharp second layer underneath. The closing twist rewrites everything you assumed about who these people are. If you like crime stories that play games with the audience, this one is a treat.
