Synopsis
The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar (2016) is a Disney animated adventure you can watch online on iFILM. Set in the African savannah, it expands the world of The Lion King through Kion, the young son of Simba and Nala.
When Kion suddenly gains the Roar of the Elders, a duty comes with it. He must lead the Lion Guard, the team that protects the Pride Lands. Tradition says the Guard is made of lions only. Kion breaks that rule. He picks his squad from across the savannah, choosing each animal for courage, speed, sharp eyes and loyalty rather than species, and together they set out to defend the Circle of Life.
Directed by Howy Parkins, the film brings back voices from the original franchise, with James Earl Jones and Ernie Sabella returning as Mufasa and Pumbaa. At 44 minutes, it works as easy family viewing for younger fans. Stream The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar (2016) online on iFILM.
