Moonbound

Moonbound (Peterchens Mondfahrt, 2021) is a family animated feature from director Ali Samadi Ahadi, and you can watch it online on iFILM. This German-Austrian fairy tale is based on a beloved old children's book and sends its young heroes on a trip all the way to the Moon.

Little Anne is snatched by the wicked Moon Man after she tries to help a beetle, Mr. Zoomzeman, who is searching for his missing wife. Her older brother Peter sets out to bring her back. To learn where Anne is being kept, he must reach the Night Fairy's dinner in a castle in the clouds — but there simply aren't enough seats for everyone. That sets off a wild dash along the Milky Way against five Spirits of Nature: the Storm Giant, the Lightning Witch, Henry Hail, Rainy Robin and Mother Frost.
