Pure (2019) is an American TV horror-thriller directed by Hannah Macpherson — watch it online on iFILM. A group of teenage girls arrives at a weekend Purity Retreat — a faith-based camp where fathers and daughters pledge vows of chastity. After dark, the girls perform a ritual of their own. One of them starts seeing things.

The film's sharpest question is whether what they may have summoned is more dangerous than what was already in the room: the suffocating expectations of their controlling fathers. Jahkara Smith and McKaley Miller lead the cast; Scott Porter plays a father whose devotion to his daughter's purity is written as its own variety of horror.
