Synopsis
High Society (2017) is a German comedy from Anika Decker, ready to watch online on iFILM. Anabel grew up wealthy and untroubled until a tabloid dug up the twist of her life: she was swapped at birth. The family's real daughter is Aura, raised in a rough, low-income part of town.
At twenty-five, the two are forced to trade lives. Anabel learns to stretch every euro and work for a living, while Aura navigates the maids, mansions and spoiled relatives who are now, on paper, her own family. Emilia Schüle and Jannis Niewöhner take the leads, with Iris Berben and Katja Riemann rounding out the cast. The comedy is soft and easy to predict, with no real bite — watch it for a relaxed evening and a familiar swapped-lives fairy tale rather than sharp surprises.
