Synopsis

Clark Davis is holding his farm together through a grinding drought when his wife Ellen takes a sewing job in town to cover the bank loan. She comes home with scarlet fever. Wes Brown plays Clark opposite Julie Mond; Bruce Boxleitner and Cheryl Ladd play his parents Irene and Lloyd, who step in when Clark and his young daughter Missie have no one else to turn to. The story follows a man who has lost his partner and has to work out how to keep both a farm and a child afloat at the same time.
