Synopsis

Patxi the blacksmith keeps everyone away with traps strung around his property, and the locals whisper that he struck a deal with something unholy. They're right. Behind his door sits a real demon, caged in iron. When an orphan girl named Usue slips past the fence, she pulls loose a bargain the smith has guarded for years.
Director Paul Urkijo Alijo builds the film straight out of Basque folklore — here devils haggle like peasants and hell runs like a grim bureaucracy. It's a debut that surprises you with how much dry wit it wrings from a dark fable about souls and debt. Stream Errementari (2018) online on iFILM.
