Synopsis
The Damned (2025) is a horror-drama you can watch online on iFILM. An Icelandic fishing outpost, the depth of a 19th-century winter, a coastline hours from any help. A foreign ship goes down offshore — and widow Eva has to choose: pull the survivors ashore and exhaust the last food stores, or let them freeze in the water.
She chooses to help. It doesn't spare her. What the rescued bring ashore is harder to name than hunger, and the guilt over the decision gains weight with every passing night. Voices, shadows, a community talking itself into believing the choice has to be paid for. Director Thordur Palsson builds his dread from collective paranoia rather than any visible threat. Odessa Young and Joe Cole lead the cast in this British-Icelandic co-production.
