Synopsis
GHOUL (2018), Season 1 is a three-episode Indian horror thriller you can watch online on iFILM — Netflix's tight little chiller set in a near-future military black site called Meghdoot 31.
Nida Rahim has just turned in her own father for anti-government activity, and the reward is a job interrogating prisoners. Then a sect leader named Ali Saeed arrives, and his answers start flipping the questions back on the people holding him. Fragments of Nida's past surface as she works. The thing locked up here was never a human terrorist at all. Three episodes run almost like one long feature, no padding.
Claustrophobic, angry, and openly political, this season folds the djinn of Islamic folklore into a story about guilt and confession. If you like horror that stays in one cramped building, give it a try. Stream GHOUL Season 1 online on iFILM.
