Synopsis
Betaal (2020), Season 1 is a four-episode Indian zombie horror you can watch online on iFILM — a short, tight story about a modern army squad that clears a mountain tunnel and wakes something that should have stayed buried.
The soldiers are sent to evict a village so a road can cut through a peak the locals call cursed. The villagers' resistance is only the first problem. Out of the old barracks rises a British East India Company colonel and his battalion of dead redcoats. Across these four episodes the show plays as one compressed siege: Sirohi's squad barricades in, loses people, learns the enemy can crawl inside their own bodies as easily as storm the walls, and finally marches on Betaal Mountain itself for the last stand.
