About
Synopsis
"Innocent Thing" (가시, 2014) is a Korean thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Kim Tae-gyun. Jang Hyuk plays Jun Ki, a high school teacher with a pregnant wife and a life that works — until it doesn't.
One of his students, Yoon Eun, has decided she is in love with him and isn't shy about it. He refuses. She doesn't hear it that way. What unsettles the film is how Cho Bo-ah plays her: not as a damaged girl to pity but as someone who has simply chosen the ending and is working backward from there. Cold, controlled, and genuinely uncomfortable. Stream "Innocent Thing" on iFILM.
