Synopsis
The Target (표적, 2014) is a South Korean action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Chang, it drops ex-mercenary Yeo-hoon into the wrong office at the wrong moment — he finds a corpse, and seconds later he's the prime suspect.
The cops want him. Worse, so do the people who need him dead before he talks. Shot and unconscious, he lands in an ER run by Dr. Tae-jun — whose wife is snatched the same night. The deal is brutal: keep the patient alive, smuggle him past the police, get your wife back. Two strangers, one sleepless night, nobody safe to trust.
It's a remake of the French film Point Blank, rebuilt at a hammering Seoul pace — chases, gunfights, almost no air between scenes. Ryu Seung-ryong and Lee Jin-wook carry it on raw physicality; these men sweat, miss, and panic instead of posing as heroes. A tight 98 minutes for anyone who likes their action lean and mean.
