Door Lock

Door Lock (2018) is a South Korean thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Kyung-min lives by herself in a cramped one-room flat, and one morning she spots scratches around her keypad lock that she never made.

The police shrug it off. Her complaints go nowhere, a pushy customer starts shadowing her after work, and the apartment that was supposed to be a refuge begins to feel occupied. Director Lee Kwon tightens the screws slowly — Gong Hyo-jin's bank clerk stops waiting to be rescued and starts hunting the intruder herself. A remake of Spain's Sleep Tight, relocated to the isolation of a Korean high-rise, it preys on a very modern fear: the flimsy lock between you and whoever is standing on the other side of the door.
