Ride the Eagle

Ride the Eagle (2021) is a gentle dramedy you can watch online on iFILM. When his estranged mother Honey dies, Leif inherits her cabin in Yosemite — but only if he earns it first.

To claim the place, he has to work through Honey's elaborate to-do list, one item at a time. Stepping into her free-spirited world, Leif slowly gets to know the mother he never really had, now that she's gone. The list pushes him toward an old flame, a few awkward phone calls and some long-overdue conversations. Jake Johnson plays Leif, Susan Sarandon turns up as Honey on home-video tapes, and D'Arcy Carden and J.K. Simmons round out the small cast.
