Synopsis
Sydney White (2007) is a teen comedy you can watch online on iFILM, with Amanda Bynes as a college freshman chasing the sorority her late mother once belonged to. Director Joe Nussbaum gives the Snow White fairytale a campus makeover.
Things go sideways fast. The house is now run by queen-bee Rachel (Sara Paxton), who exiles Sydney to a crumbling dorm shared by seven brilliant misfits. Rather than back down, Sydney rallies the so-called dorks and runs against the popular crowd for student council.
The script maps the old fairytale onto frat-and-sorority politics: the seven dwarfs become nerds, the evil queen throws the best parties, and the poisoned apple turns into election dirty tricks.
