Synopsis
The Master Blackmailer (1992) is a British TV detective film you can watch online on iFILM. Jeremy Brett gives one of his more layered performances here. Holmes goes undercover, bends his own moral code, and finds himself genuinely falling in love — something that visibly baffles Dr. Watson (Edward Hardwicke). Director Peter Hammond adapts Conan Doyle's source story with period precision, and Robert Hardy gives Milverton a cold, smiling menace that makes Holmes' rule-breaking feel completely earned.
