Synopsis
"The Dinner" (La cena, 2025) is a Spanish historical comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Manuel Gómez Pereira. April 1939 — the Civil War just ended. Franco wants a victory banquet at Madrid's Palace Hotel, and Lieutenant Santiago Medina is put in charge. The catch: every top chef in the city is in prison. Mario Casas and Alberto San Juan lead the cast.
Chief steward Genaro gets them released for one night. They agree. Each one arrives with a different idea of what to do with the evening — serve the winning side, poison the soup, or vanish before morning.
