Synopsis

NOS4A2 (2019), Season 1 is a supernatural horror series you can watch online on iFILM — ten episodes following Vic McQueen, a New England teenager who finds she can ride a ghostly covered bridge to recover lost things.

The further Vic pushes her gift, the closer she drifts to Charlie Manx. He's an immortal who stays young by stealing children and carrying them off to an invented realm he calls Christmasland. The season plays out as a slow collision between the two. Vic meets Maggie, a medium who answers questions with more questions, tries to keep an ordinary life going between school and a fracturing family, and watches bodies start turning up around Haverhill. Manx, meanwhile, recruits a devoted helper in the gas-mask-wearing Bing. By the closing episodes Vic is fighting to pull a loved one back, leaning on allies she never expected.

Adapted from the novel by Joe Hill, Stephen King's son, it favors a creeping, dread-soaked mood over jump scares, with Zachary Quinto as Manx. Stream NOS4A2 Season 1 online on iFILM.
