Teens in the Universe

What they find: a planet long controlled by android robots that solved the problem of human suffering by eliminating emotion altogether — love, responsibility, fear. The plan worked too well. The population died out; a handful of descendants have been living on an orbital station for generations. Innokenty Smoktunovsky and Vladimir Basov appear as the adults, but the teenagers are the ones who actually land and try to undo what the machines spent decades building.
