Synopsis
Tropicaliente (1994) is a Brazilian telenovela you can watch online on iFILM, produced for TV Globo. It follows two people whose lives should never have crossed: Letícia, the daughter of a wealthy family, and Ramiro, a fisherman from a small coastal village seven years her senior.
She's seventeen and leaves everything behind to move into his modest house by the water. He goes back to sea with a promise to return the following month. Three months pass without a word. Letícia eventually leaves to study abroad; Ramiro comes home to find nothing. Years later, both end up back in the town where it all began. Sílvia Pfeifer and Herson Capri lead the cast in a story that doesn't rush its emotional math — the distance between two people who missed each other carries more weight than any dramatic confrontation.
