Synopsis

Frankie Heck sells cars for a living, her husband Mike manages a quarry, and the money never quite stretches far enough. Their three kids are a handful. Axl, the oldest, floats through high school on sheer confidence and very few shirts. Sue signs up for every extracurricular activity she can find and bombs every single one. Brick, the youngest, reads everything out loud and then whispers the last word back to himself under his breath. Patricia Heaton and Neil Flynn play the parents with the kind of timing that makes ordinary chaos feel earned rather than scripted.
