Random Access Memory (Season 1)

Random Access Memory (2025) is a Russian detective drama series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Sergei Popov. Major Bagryshev has spent decades closing cases. Then comes an Alzheimer's diagnosis and a trainee assigned to him — both of which feel, to Bagryshev, like signs that management wants him gone.

The trainee, Solomatin, sees it differently. He wants to learn from the best investigator in the department, so he proposes an arrangement: Bagryshev passes on his knowledge and methods, and Solomatin becomes his living backup — the operational memory his mind can no longer fully hold. They take on a murder investigation that keeps surfacing details that echo one of Bagryshev's older cases. Andrei Smolyakov and Kuzma Saprykin lead, with Maria Andreyeva and Olga Lomonosova in supporting roles.
