Head in the Stars

"Head in the Stars" (La Tête dans les étoiles, 2023) is a French comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Emmanuel Gillibert. The premise is deliberately simple: what if a food delivery driver accidentally ended up on the International Space Station?

Ali is in his thirties, still living with his mother, raising his eight-year-old daughter, and scraping by on gig work. One delivery goes very wrong — or very right, depending on your perspective. Suddenly he is orbiting Earth and his daughter has a hero. Hakim Jemili plays the role with easy charm alongside Alice Pol and François-Xavier Demaison; the film does not try to be more than a feel-good family comedy, and that is exactly what makes it work.
