Synopsis
"Le Secret de la grotte" (2023) is a French crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Kayakers on the Ardèche pull ashore near Pont d'Arc and find a body: the museum president of a recently discovered Paleolithic cave site, left kneeling with a 40,000-year-old carved stone lodged in his neck.
Captain Manon Ferret-Duval and detective Riad Lekcir take the case — and bring with them a problem. Manon is convinced Riad's brother murdered her parents in 1994. Riad is equally certain his now-deceased brother was innocent. Directed by Christelle Raynal and starring Élodie Varlet and Sami Gharbi, the film layers a prehistoric murder mystery over an unresolved personal one.
