Synopsis

Lady Death (2004) is a US animated dark fantasy you can watch online on iFILM, based on Brian Pulido's cult comic book of the same name. Director Andy Orjuela sets it in 15th-century Europe: Hope is a feudal lord's daughter who discovers her father is Lucifer. The village condemns her to burn at the stake.

The devil offers a way out — swear allegiance and survive. She refuses. That refusal sends her to hell, where she sheds the name Hope along with everything human and rises as Lady Death, sworn to tear the underworld away from her father. At 77 minutes it never overstays its welcome, and it plays the darkness straight rather than leaning on style. A solid pick for fans of adult animation and bleak mythology.
