Synopsis
Der Meisterdieb (2010) is a German family TV film based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale — watch online on iFILM. Robert ran away from his father's farm as a boy and returns years later polished and well-off. The source of his wealth: he became a master thief. His parents are relieved to see him; the local Count is already reaching for the warrant.
His only path to freedom is to complete three near-impossible tasks the Count devised as a trap. Directed by Christian Theede, with Max von Thun as the roguish Robert and Armin Rohde as his imperious opponent, this brisk 59-minute film keeps the old trickster story moving without moralising.
