Synopsis
The Heineken Kidnapping (De Heineken Ontvoering, 2011) is a Dutch crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Director Maarten Treurniet reconstructs the most infamous abduction case the Netherlands has ever seen: on a cold November day in 1983, beer magnate Alfred Heineken and his driver Ab Doderer were snatched off the street.
A small group of young men believed they had thought of everything. They hadn't. The longer Heineken sat in captivity, the more the ground shifted under his captors — because Heineken, played by Rutger Hauer, was not the type to wait quietly.
