Synopsis
Sense and Sensibility (2026), directed by Georgia Oakley, is a new adaptation of Jane Austen's 1811 novel you can watch online on iFILM. Daisy Edgar-Jones plays Elinor Dashwood — the older sister who holds everything together by holding everything back. Esme Creed-Miles is Marianne, who runs in the opposite direction and feels everything at full volume.
Their father's death strips the Dashwood family of any claim to their Sussex estate. They move in with a distant relative, penniless and dependent, and both sisters face the same question Austen kept circling: what does a woman do when her choices aren't her own? George MacKay, Frank Dillane, Caitríona Balfe and Fiona Shaw fill out the cast.
