Synopsis
The Olsen Gang Sees Red (Olsen-banden ser rødt, 1976) is a Danish comedy directed by Erik Balling, ready to watch online on iFILM. Egon takes what looks like the easiest job of his life: faking the theft of an antique Ming-dynasty Chinese vase.
Naturally the simple job goes sideways, and an innocent Egon winds up locked away again. His unlikely rescuer is Yvonne, who has her own designs on the cunning crook. Freedom tastes sweet, but wounded pride burns hotter than sense, and Egon sets out to repay the man who crossed him with an elaborate revenge. Whether his brilliant arithmetic adds up is, as ever, anyone's guess.
This is one entry in the long-running Danish franchise about three lovable losers, anchored by Ove Sprogøe as the unflappable Egon.
