Synopsis
De Repente, Miss! (2024) is a Brazilian comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Mônica once had a bright future in advertising before she gave it up to raise her kids. Now, nearly forty, she realizes her teenage daughter no longer looks up to her at all.
Luíza is busy becoming a rising digital influencer, and the gap between her and her mom keeps widening. When her husband surprises the family with a trip to the famous Praia Star Resort, Mônica spots her chance to win her daughter back. The catch is ridiculous: to prove she still has it, she signs up for a beauty pageant and faces down every fear she has.
Directed by Hsu Chien, this is a breezy story about a mother tired of being invisible. Fabiana Karla leads, with Giulia Benite and Danielle Winits alongside her.
