Synopsis
A Very Venice Romance (2023) is an American TV romantic comedy directed by Elizabeth Farrer — watch it online on iFILM. Stefanie Leonidas plays Amy, a New York wellness executive trying to recruit an Italian chef for her company's new meal kit venture.
Her top pick is Marcello Barone (Raniero Monaco Di Lapio), who runs a cooking school in a Venetian palazzo and wants nothing to do with New York after a bad experience there. Amy enrolls in his course to convince him in person. Marcello's Venice moves at a different pace — the morning produce markets, the act of cooking with actual fresh ingredients, no shortcuts allowed. By the time the course ends, Amy's original business mission starts to feel less important than what she has stumbled into instead.
