Synopsis
Love & Anarchy (Kärlek & anarki, 2020), Season 1 is a Swedish dramedy you can watch online on iFILM — eight episodes that open with a tidy life starting to crack. Sofie, a married consultant brought in to modernize an old publishing house, has her routine knocked sideways the moment she walks in.
A young IT tech named Max catches her in an awkward private moment and, instead of telling anyone, dares her into a game of challenges. The dares start small. They don't stay that way. Sofie walks backward through the office, sabotages a book-fair presentation, lies to her husband, and keeps raising the stakes herself. Around them the publisher is sinking — a hopeless Bergman manuscript, a botched film adaptation, the threat of shutdown. The line between the game and her real life keeps thinning across the season.
Creator Lisa Langseth isn't really filming an affair. She's filming a woman asking, for the first time, what she actually wants. Ida Engvoll carries all eight episodes, dragging the character from embarrassment toward something like freedom. If sterile romance plots bore you, this season is worth your time.
