Souvenir from Odesa (Season 1)

Souvenir from Odesa (2018) is a Ukrainian adventure series you can watch online on iFILM. Odesa, 1917: the city is being carved up by Reds, Whites and outlaws who answer to no one. In the middle of it all, Liza and Matvey meet — and what starts between them keeps getting interrupted by the revolution.

Their story runs through some of the most vivid figures of the era: the bandit kingpin Mishka Yaponchik, ataman Grigory Kotovsky, General Almazov. A mysterious souvenir with unexplained properties keeps steering the characters across these encounters. Stanislav Boklan and Larysa Udovychenko lead the cast alongside Daniel Olbrychski; the series is based on a novel by Valeriy Smirnov.
