Synopsis
The Perfect Murder (2025) is a Russian crime series you can watch online on iFILM. Summer of 1968, southern Crimea: a restricted sanatorium for Communist Party officials. A small group takes a boat out to a quiet cove — picnic, swim, drinks. One of the women dies of acute poisoning. Nothing points to foul play. Everyone could have died; no one points anywhere.
KGB investigators from the regional office arrive and rope in a local village captain named Savchenko, whom they promptly dismiss as a provincial irrelevance. That turns out to be a mistake. Starring Alexander Poryvaev, Svetlana Agafoshina, and Gennady Yakovlev, the series captures the sealed-off atmosphere of late-Soviet life, where the more sensitive a case, the less likely it is to be called what it is.
