Wingless

Wingless (2024) is a Bulgarian biographical drama available to watch online on iFILM, directed by Niki Iliev. The story is drawn from the real life of Mihail Hristov, who lost both arms in a high-voltage electrical accident and then made the unlikely decision to become a competitive athlete. Mihail's path takes him through broken family bonds, gruelling training without arms, and relationships strained to the breaking point. He eventually climbs to three consecutive long jump world titles at the Paralympic level, and later develops a new type of prosthetics and becomes a motivational speaker.
