The Advisors Alliance (2017) is a Chinese historical drama you can watch online on iFILM. Set during the Three Kingdoms period — when the Han dynasty has fractured and three rival states are locked in decades of war — the series follows Sima Yi, the court strategist of the Wei kingdom whose descendants would eventually unify China as the Jin dynasty.

Wu Xiubo plays Sima Yi as a man who outlasts Cao Cao and his heirs not through battlefield bravado but through patience, calculation and an instinct for when to stay invisible. Director Zhang Yong Xin fills the story with court conspiracies, military campaigns and family power struggles, where alliances shift without warning and real authority is never where it appears to be.
