The Spy (2019) is a Netflix limited series — watch online on iFILM. Director Gideon Raff shaped six episodes around the true story of Eli Cohen, the Israeli clerk who became Mossad's most celebrated agent and spent years posing as a wealthy Syrian businessman in the heart of Damascus. Sacha Baron Cohen plays Cohen in a performance completely stripped of his trademark comedy.

Through the early 1960s, Eli climbed into Syrian military and political circles, visited restricted installations and fed intelligence back to Tel Aviv — all while one careless moment could end everything. His wife Nadia (Hadar Ratzon Rotem) raises their children at home, largely in the dark. Noah Emmerich plays his Mossad handler, a man who can monitor the mission but cannot pull Eli out of the room when the danger spikes.
