Synopsis
"The Eternal Love" (双世宠妃, 2017) is a Chinese historical fantasy-comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. After Taner's failed suicide attempt, she wakes up with a different personality: a modern young woman named Xiao Tan has somehow arrived in her body from the present day with no idea how she got there or how to get back. Mo Liancheng notices the change before he understands it — and finds himself drawn to this new version of the woman he was supposed to resent. Starring Xin Zhaolin and Liang Jie, directed by Yuan De and Li Yan, this soul-swap period romance earns its laughs from the time-travel fish-out-of-water setup and keeps the chemistry between its leads as the real engine.
