Synopsis
A Bigger Splash (2015) is Luca Guadagnino's sun-drenched drama-thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Rock star Marianne Lane, voice ruined after throat surgery, hides out on a volcanic Sicilian island with her quiet boyfriend Paul.
Then Harry shows up. He's Marianne's old flame and former producer, a loud, restless force who never stops talking, and he's brought along a grown daughter he barely knows. Four people, one isolated villa, endless heat. Lazy swims and long lunches curdle into jealousy, want and a tension nobody admits to until it's too late.
Tilda Swinton plays almost the whole film in silence; Ralph Fiennes does the opposite, dancing and chattering for two, with Matthias Schoenaerts and Dakota Johnson rounding out the four.
