Synopsis
Raven (Kruk, 2018) is a Polish crime series you can watch online on iFILM. Detective Adam Kruk is forty, dependent on painkillers and psychotropic medication, and heading back to the provincial town where he grew up.
He is officially there to investigate the kidnapping of a powerful man's grandson. Unofficially, he is hunting the predator who destroyed his friend Sławek's childhood years ago — and was never caught. The two cases stay separate until they converge on the same buried truth. Piotr Żurawski plays Kruk as a man who holds it together just enough to function, and the performance makes his slow unravelling feel inevitable rather than theatrical.
