Gülperi (Season 1)

Gülperi (2018) is a Turkish drama series you can watch online on iFILM. Her husband is killed on the Turkish-Iraqi border. His family blames Gülperi — played by Nurgül Yeşilçay — for his death and takes away her children.

One act of self-defense lands her in prison. Out of jail, she is sent to Istanbul to keep her far from the kids left behind in Gaziantep. She rebuilds from scratch: first cleaning work, then a position in a fashion house, where she runs into Kadir Aydın, a lawyer who was once the person she loved, played by Timuçin Esen.
