Pine Gap has existed since the 1970s — a base in the Northern Territory where CIA and Australian signals analysts work side by side intercepting satellite traffic across Asia and the Middle East. The series builds a fictional regional crisis that puts those analysts in a tight spot: the Americans and Australians at the facility are not working from the same intelligence picture. Someone is getting less than the full story. Or someone is choosing to share less. Six episodes, and the tension sits entirely in that gap between allies.
