Caged (2019) is a Russian crime drama series you can watch online on iFILM. Director Artyom Aksyonenko sets it in Kaliningrad, where a father and son return to the same city from opposite directions on the same day — one from prison, the other from debt.

Sergei "Fidget" Yevdokimov (Pavel Priluchny) just finished seven years on a drug conviction. His mother is gone, his ex-girlfriend has moved on, and the only person genuinely glad to see him is his younger brother Zhenya. His father Alexei "Doc" (Vladimir Yepifantsev), a former underground MMA champion, has fled his Moscow creditors and shows up with a plan that involves Sergei fighting again. An old classmate from school now runs a significant piece of the local criminal hierarchy.

Pavel Priluchny and Vladimir Yepifantsev are both good enough to make their estrangement feel earned rather than scripted. The underground fights are in the background; the real mechanics are the family debts — who owes what, to whom, across how many years — that keep pulling people back into the cage.
