Officially titled The Day the Sun Cried, the film sends dark energy from MultiEarth A0073 collapsing into a void that swallows the sun whole. With the world plunged into permanent night, the franchise's ultimate villain, Gavan Killer, comes hunting to wipe out every Gavan that ever existed — and drags Reiji and his crew into a fight most of them won't walk away from.

The cast leans on decades of tokusatsu talent, plus a few recognizable voice-acting names like Takehito Koyasu and Ayako Kawasumi in the mix. Forty-plus years after the original series, the tagline isn't empty marketing — it's a promise about how this one ends. Gyaban Infinity is streaming now in iFILM's sci-fi lineup.
