Synopsis

A former employer hands Mike a job that doubles as a debt: cross into Mexico and bring back the man's teenage son. Mike tracks down the boy, Rafo (Eduardo Minett), who scrapes by on cockfights and wants nothing to do with his father. The slow drive home through dusty border towns turns into a road trip where the old man and the kid each teach the other something. Dwight Yoakam plays the boss with his own angle.
