Synopsis

The late 1980s. Customs officer Bob Mazur decides to go after Pablo Escobar's empire through its money rather than its drugs. He becomes Bob Musella, a slick businessman who can supposedly launder millions. The cover rests on small things: a fake fiancee (Diane Kruger), a hot-headed partner named Emir Abreu (John Leguizamo), and steady nerves. One slip and he is gone.
Director Brad Furman built the story from the memoir of the actual Mazur, who really worked his way into a bank quietly serving the cartel. Cranston carries the whole thing.
