Single life doesn't fix anything. Issa throws herself into a "roster" of casual dates while still circling back to Lawrence, who is busy starting over and only drops by to muddy the water. Molly gets her own rude awakening: she learns a male colleague out-earns her for the same work and has to decide whether to fight her way into the office boys' club or walk. An old friend, Dro, pulls her toward a relationship with no clear rules. The two women clash more than they make up this year, and the finale corners everyone into a choice they can't keep dodging.
