Close Enough (2020) is an animated comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. Creator JG Quintel — the mind behind Regular Show — built this show for HBO Max with a slightly older crowd in mind: people staring down thirty and wondering how it got so complicated.
Josh and Emily are a married couple juggling a young daughter, a dead-end lease, and two former roommates who never moved out. Each episode starts with something mundane — picking a daycare, getting a raise, surviving a party — and escalates into full surreal chaos. Stripper clowns show up. So do interdimensional monsters. Ham gets stolen. The absurdity is the point: it's what adulting actually feels like when nothing goes the way the plan said it would. Jason Mantzoukas and Danielle Brooks lead the voice cast.
