Home Movies (1999–2004) is the animated comedy from Loren Bouchard and Brendon Small, and you can watch online on iFILM. Eight-year-old Brendon is obsessed with making movies, cranking out homemade films with a crew of exactly two classmates, Jason and Melissa.

The plots of those little films are Brendon's own life retold sideways: his parents' divorce, school, and soccer practice run by John McGuirk, a coach who's usually one beer past useless. Most of the dialogue was improvised, which gives the show its loose, overlapping, oddly real cadence. McGuirk is voiced by H. Jon Benjamin — yes, the future Sterling Archer and Bob Belcher.

Four seasons of early Adult Swim, and a clear first sketch of Bouchard's later style: low-key humor about messy families with no lesson attached.
